Agree on Kuroda's attitude. But he sees imported inflation in Japan, not the kind he wants and doubts it will last. He did face down and defeat the bond traders and, in this instance, that's probably better for Japan than the alternative.

Kuroda has a tendency to be sanguine, IMHO. He must doubt there's embedded inflation in the U.S. We shall see--the future lies ahead!
